Join us for the exciting opening of our 2025-26 BravoPiano!  Recital Series with Queen Elisabeth Competition Laureate Rachel Breen at SoundWaves!

We first met Rachel as a Young Artist at the 2013 HHIPC, and she has gone on to great success since then, excelling at numerous major international competitions, including her most recent captivating performances in the finals of the 2025 Queen Elisabeth IPC in Brussels.   Prior to that, she garnered top prizes at Spain’s Premi Iturbi (2023), Germany’s Hans von Bülow International Competition (2023), Arizona’s Bösendorfer International Competition (2023), Canada’s Honens International Piano Competition (2022), and Vienna’s Beethoven International Competition (2021), among many others.

Now based in Europe, this talented American artist returns to share an impressive program with us, including music of Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky and Beethoven, plus a rarely heard work of Anthony Philip Heinrich–a 19th century composer who was dubbed “the Beethoven of America!”
